"The Apprentice: Salt Lake"
Probably my most favorite of all the projects on which I've worked. This project was prepared for a local church for their Easter service. The video tells the tail of four contestants all trying to jockey for Mr. Trump's ever elusive apprenticeship. The main tasks were trying to mimic the show as exacting as possible but also adding a bit of artistic license when adding the parody. Effects wise the video has quite a few, from the opening title graphics to wall removals, to a mock bullet time effect.
The opening graphics were all created in photoshop then composited and animated in After Effect, with the final look being developed in Magic Bullet. The matrix text rain is a combination of After Effects tricks and custom code I wrote to convert images to ascii text pictures using.
All in all the project involved 100+ hours in post production which doesn't include the monumental task of organizing a huge cast and multiple locations all over Salt Lake City.
